Two Buddy Guy markers were placed on Dec. 8, 2018 in Lettsworth, Louisiana, commemorating the birthplace of legendary blues artist, Buddy Guy. Mississippi Blues Marker is located on LA Hwy. 418, now designated by act of the Louisiana Legislature as “Buddy Guy Way.” The Buddy Guy Louisiana Historical Marker is located on LA Hwy. 1 at the Lettsworth Railroad Crossing Sign. It was placed there because Buddy Guy’s 2018 Album cover photo was taken by that railroad track.
